Yvonne Blaszczyk has an extensive background in Human Resources Management and Board Governance. She is a recognized expert with over twenty years of experience in all aspects of the field, with primary emphasis on pay equity, compensation systems, job evaluation systems, legal compliance, strategy and governance, performance management and board level strategic planning.
Biography:
Yvonne offers strategic and hands-on experience in developing and implementing board strategies, pay equity programs and corporate policies. She also specializes in Pay Equity and “boutique” market research, competitive profiles, focus groups and developing new business streams most notably with Canadian Standards Association, CSA International and Lesley University, Cambridge providing research supporting several PhD programs.
In 1991 Yvonne received the Fellow level CHRP Designation to recognize her outstanding accomplishments in the field of human resources, and for development of new theories and practices in human resources management.
Professional Life:
Yvonne has acquired exceptional Board expertise through her service on various Board of Directors and advisory to numerous renowned organizations, including: Ontario Service Safety Alliance (OSSA); Advisory Board on Pay Equity, Ontario Hospital Association (OHA); and the Canadian Human Rights Act Review Panel, The Globe and Mail, the National CEO Forum on HR issues, Vice President and founding partner HR Research Institute at York University. Currently, Yvonne is on the Board of Directors of BMG Group Inc. and their subsidiaries. BMG Group Inc. is the global leader in providing secure bullion purchase and storage for real wealth preservation as well as mutual fund trust that purchases bullion for true portfolio diversification.
In addition to leading a successful consulting practice, since 2012 Yvonne holds the position of Vice President, Human Resources & IT in Precious Metals Investment Company. In the past she has held senior human resources positions in organizations such as CIBC – Information Technology, The Toronto Hospital (merger Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital), Royal LePage, The Permanent Trust, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pay Council, Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal - Adjudicator.
Yvonne specializes in pay equity, compensation, pay equity compliance as well as solutions to regulatory employment issues. She designed innovative programs and conducted market research, having created competitive industry profiles for Intertek ETL SEMKO, TUV Suddeutschland (TUV SUD), Bureau Veritas, TUV Rheinland; new strategy t and i having conducted international focus groups and developing pay and organizational structure, Quality Assurance and Quality Control for a new business specializing in food testing, and medical organizations accreditation in USA and Canada, with Canadian Standards Association and CSA International.
